Privacy Policy
PhD Assistance is a website belonging to Guires Solutions Pvt. Limited, a UK registered company (No.) and registered data controller (No.). We can be contacted using the details given at the bottom of this page.
The privacy policy tells you what to expect as we collect and process personal data, your rights, and how you can exercise it.
What we do with your data
For any reason, we will never sell your personal data, although it will sometimes be appropriate to move your information to a third party. Your information is processed for certain specific reasons:
Essential data
We generate a unique identifier and use your email address as a username to create an online account so that you can track and access your orders.
So that we can get in touch with you about your order, we need to know your name, email address, phone number and any messages you have sent through your online account.
On the order form, we ask for your country of study. This is because we are required to know the country in which you are downloading your order for VAT purposes.
To process your order properly, we also need to keep details about the task you are asking us to complete as well as any files you have uploaded to your order. You should try to remove all personal data from anything you upload, but we will do our best to anonymise it before passing it on to our writers.
Marketing
If you have expressly agreed to receive direct marketing from us or if you have previously ordered from us, we will sometimes use your name and email address to give you deals and promotions about the products that we provide.
Likewise, we may also use your name and phone number to provide you with details about the deals and promotions we are currently running. We’ll only call you about an existing service that you’ve asked us to provide or about something that’s important to your account.
Other purposes
Sometimes, we offer coupons to individual clients for use with future orders. To ensure only the intended recipient of the coupon can use it, we store their email address along with the coupon details. These addresses are not used for anything other than the management of vouchers.
Our program will store your IP address when you place an order. This address is used to figure out your time zone and make it easy for us to contact you during convenient hours. It is also used to identify when a customer is using multiple accounts to place their orders.
We ask for documentation to show that you are the licensed account holder for transactions over a certain amount. This is to avoid fraudulent transactions, such as paying people with stolen card data.
We record anything that might be applicable to the agreement or execution of a contract (e.g. emails or order instructions) to determine the facts in the case of a legal dispute.Exposure to this stored information is strictly controlled so that it can be accessed by only a few privileged workers and is used only for the sole purpose of supporting a legal case. In the unlikely event of a disagreement, some of these details may be shared with our legal counsel.

- How long is the data needed for? – For example, we will delete you from our mailing lists if you have not signed in to your account for several years.
- What did we say we would do with the data when we collected it? – If the purposes for which we collected the data are no longer relevant, it is no longer necessary to retain them.
- Do we have a legal obligation to keep the data? – For example, financial information needs to be kept for a minimum amount of time for tax reasons.
- Does holding the data carry an inherent risk? – We want to make sure that nothing important is compromised in the unlikely event of a data breach. Therefore, we will have shortened storage periods for sensitive data.
