- This involves composing, revising, proofreading, and peer-reviewing manuscripts, encompassing original studies, experimental research, simulation studies, technical notes, survey papers, concise communication, review articles, letters to the editor, book reviews, invited papers, tutorial papers, emerging technologies, application notes, case reports, literature reviews, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, documents for journal submissions, theses, and dissertations.
- Utilize advanced tools, methodologies, and techniques specific to Structural Engineering. This may include structural analysis software like SAP2000 and ETABS for modeling and analyzing complex structures. Structural design involves codes and standards, load calculations, and software tools like STAAD.Pro. Seismic engineering employs seismic hazard assessment and retrofitting techniques. Finite element analysis (FEA) tools like ANSYS and Abaqus are used for simulating structural behavior. Structural health monitoring uses sensors and data analysis to assess the condition of structures.
